I don’t usually write about specific hotels but as my blog is a diary for myself, then keeping a record of some particularly good hotels may add to the memory. Who knows!
My first ever ‘Hotel’ feature is about Hotel Edit in Yokohama. It is a small business hotel that has a real modern feel. The light, fresh feel that you get from the moment you enter the front entrance is consistent throughout the building from the lobby, restaurant/bar to the rooms. It is a mere 5 minutes walk from Sakuragicho station and best of all offers free coffee. Whenever we have stayed here, it has been around 10,000yen a room for the night (around £70 in the current exchange rate), pretty reasonable really. By far my favourite hotel in this area and my ‘go to’ hotel whenever we stay in Yokohama. Hopefully the pictures do it justice.
Perfectly located on a quiet street within walking distance to a subway station, train station and the best Yokohama has to offer. This is a well priced hotel for a one or two night stay.
